Homemade Food Swap

The Homemade Food Swap is a place for home cooks, bakers, caners, picklers, jamers, growers, and general “put up-ers” to get together and swap their speciality homemade food items with others in a silent auction style village marketplace. Your homemade creations (breads, jams, pickles, canned goods, backyard produce/eggs, home brews, etc.) become your own personal currency for use in swapping with other participants.
What better way to diversify your pantry and rub shoulders with friends and neighbors?
Our Homemade Food Swap events are held seasonally at different locations in Oakland & South Berkeley.
Events are held in the following months: January, April, July, & October.
