Spring Homemade Food & Product Swap

Have something special you like to whip up in the kitchen? Proud of your homemade soaps? Tired of eating all those jars of the same type of jam you made last fall? Up to your ears in eggs from your backyard chickens?

Come join other diy-ers for an afternoon of Homemade Food & Product Swapping.

This event will cap out at 20 swappers so everyone will be able to meet, sample, & swap in a comfortable, casual environment.

Sunday, April 14th 1-3pm

North Oakland (exact address given after successful registration)

Tickets are $5 each swapper.

This helps me cover some costs for materials and advertising for the event. It also insures people who sign up for a swap spot are serious swappers who will show up the day of the event.

Please remember to make a note in the checkout process of the items you plan on bringing and use an email address I can contact you at if needed.

It's time to clean out our closets again so we can swap our gently used clothing, shoes and accessories to make new awesome outfits.

This is my first time hosting and I will send you my exact address on Feb. 28 I am close to BART near Dana & Parker

There will have tables set out up on my large patio and space in the living room so you are able to try things on.

Any suggestions or words of advice so this goes smoothly would be great.

Fall Homemade Food Swap Oct 14th

We currently have 6 spots left for our Fall Homemade Food Swap next weekend. Come join us!

This time around we are accepting not only delish homemade & homegrown food items but also homemade body & cleaning products as well.

The more of each of your products you bring the more traded items you get to bring home!
(it seems to work out best if you bring only 2 or 3 different types of items.

As the trees begin to shed their leaves, lets gather as women to shed some unneeded items of our own...and pick up some new ones to carry us through fall and into winter. 

We will be swapping:

-Clothing
-Accessories
-Shoes
-Jewelry
-Beauty Products you tried but didn't work for you (partially used ok)
-books
etc.

*Please be respectful and only bring clean, usable items.
No xxl software company t-shirts, stains, and no un-mendable holes.

This clothing swap is also a POTLUCK so bring a dish to share with the rest of the girls. Main dishes, snacks, drinks, deserts, anything is welcome.

Plant & Garden Supply Swap - October 6th

At the plant swap you can bring plants, cuttings, seedlings, starts, foraged plants, and seeds of edible & non edible plants.

This is also a great place to bring any extra gardening supplies you have: pots, natural fertilizers, vermicompost/worms, garden tools, stepping stones, etc.
Pass them all on to a new home and come pick up some new-to-you plants for your garden and home.

The only entrance fee is something brought to add to the swap.
(or you can come after 2pm and pick up plants by donation)

*Please remember to label each of your plants

Arts & Craft Supply Swap - Sept 15th

Have crafty supplies you no longer use? A bucket of beads that aren't right for your current project? Got in to needle felting but never followed through? Have a box of paints from that class you took years ago? Bring them all down to the Arts & Craft Supply Swap! Trade your unneeded supplies for ones you will actually use. All without spending a dime!

Anything artsy & craftsy welcome. Jewelry making supplies, paints & brushes, paper goods, fabric & yarn, etc.

This will be a "FREE for all" style trade. FREE to get in with a bag of supplies to add to the swap. Add your supplies to the tables then take home any supplies you would like.
All left over supplies will be donated to local art programs.
